- Cashback Blackjack is not a new concept, although it is new to the live dealer casino realm. Originally launched by Playtech a few years ago as a standard, RNG-based (computer generated) blackjack game, the live edition brings the rules to the table in a more realistic way than ever before.
The objective of the game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over.

- Please note that Insurance, Double and Split require an additional bet. If your balance does not have enough money to cover these expenses, you will need to deposit more money to use these options.
- The dealer reveals the face down card and draws additional cards according to the rules.
- At the end of the round each of your hands is compared to the dealer’s hand, and each hand wins or loses accordingly.

RULES
Cashback Blackjack is a variant of Multi-hand Blackjack.
The object of Cashback Blackjack is to get a hand that totals 21 or is closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand without exceeding 21. In Cashback Blackjack, Aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards count as 10, and number cards count at their face values.
If you receive an Ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack and win 1.5 times your bet. If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, (but isn’t Blackjack) you win an amount equal to your bet on that hand. If the total of your cards is more than 21, you 'bust' and automatically lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 to 21), neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a 'push'. Blackjack beats a score of 21.
Cashback Blackjack follows the standard 'Las Vegas Strip' rules, with the following exceptions:
- After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled. There is a separate deck for each hand.
- The player may not split a split hand.
- The player can double down only once per hand.
- Only one card is drawn to split Aces.
- The player may double after splitting.
- The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.
- The dealer draws an additional card when the total of the dealer's cards is 16 or less and stands when the total is 17 or greater (including soft 17s). The dealer does not draw when the player is 'bust'.
- If the player doubles, the dealer's first card is an Ace and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player loses their doubled bet. If the dealer's first card is of value 10 and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player receives back half of their doubled bet.
SPLIT
If the first two cards in a hand have the same value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet (creating one bet on each split hand). You may draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, unless you split two Aces (in which case you can receive only one additional card for each Ace). If you receive an Ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack. You can double down only once per split hand and never on split Aces. You can click CASHBACK on one or both split hands.
DOUBLE
You may wish to double your bet if, after you are dealt your first two cards, you think that the third card will allow you to beat the dealer's hand. By choosing to double, the bet amount becomes twice the original (with the difference taken out of your balance) and you are dealt one more card. You can also double down after splitting a pair.
INSURANCE
- If the dealer shows an Ace in their initial hand, you are given a chance to insure your bet against the dealer having a Blackjack. If you get Insurance, an amount equal to half your original bet is placed separately on the table. If the dealer does have Blackjack, you are paid 2 to 1 on your insurance. If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount.
- If you decide to deactivate the insurance offering during the existing game session, insurance will not be offered. In order to use insurance again, it must be reactivated through the game settings dialog accessible by clicking the MENU button.
10-CARD CHARLIE
It is theoretically possible for the player to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the player’s hand automatically wins, except when the dealer has Blackjack.
10-Card Charlie is also applicable on a split hand.

The Player’s Perfect Pair side bet wins if your first two cards form a Perfect Pair, Colored Pair, or a Red/Black Pair. The '21+3' side bet wins if your first two cards and the dealer’s first card together form a Flush, Straight, Straight Flush, Suited Three of a Kind or Three of a Kind combination.
